In 2016 Gummy got his own series “The Gummy Bear Show” about his antics and adventures with friends Harry the Chameleon and Kala the Cat. There has even been a carnival with hundreds of kids dressed up as him on the streets of Athens, Greece: He has appeared on television shows, been used in commercials, parodied in many ways including South American political satire, fan-videos and much, much more. The green bear with orange underpants has since been used for many other music videos and a Christmas special. The bear ended up being green, slightly overweight with a half-chewed ear and orange underpants of the old-fashioned Y-Front variety, and little did I know that he would go on to become an internet phenomenon with over two Billion(!) views online. music video (below) for a song called the “Gummy Bear Song”, composed by Christian Schneider.
